About us

We are a 501(C) 3, non-profit Organization. Though a relatively new organization, Earth's Keepers grew out of years of urban gardening, passion and persistence to strengthen, heal and establish a sustainable and healthy food source for those who could not afford to purchase or access fresh, culturally appropriate, organic foods.

After networking with like-minded people, Earth's Keepers quickly grew into an organization dedicated to promoting food security for all people starting in their own city.

Realizing, eliminating poverty through the production and supply of an adequate quality and quantity of healthy food, and the ability of individuals to access this healthy food had to start from the ground up.

We soon concluded that this could only be done by a change in the food system starting in our own city and joining the food sovereignty movement being waged by peoples all over the world.

The question then became, how can we make our food system safe, equitable and sustainable while observing the rights of indigenous communities the world over?  With this in mind, Earths Keepers has started educating youth and their families about the rights of all peoples as it pertains to food sovereignty as well as assisting in growing healthy organic foods.
